Baldur's Gate II: Animate Dead: Huh?

Greetings, all!

I've started as a solo Sorceress and recently got Animate Dead. I cast it on myself. Nothing happens. I cast it on the ground near me. Nothing happens. I cast it on the corpses of my enemies. Nothing happens.

I use the GOG.com version and the Gibberlings3 Fixpack.  (http://www.gibberlings3.net/bg2fixpack/)

Probably the hack you're running. Animate Dead just plain summons a bunch of skeletons normally, nice spell really, from what I remember but I did have the expansion.
