Beginner Pathfinder player here. Hitting that spot where the weekly session doesn't quite completely scratch the itch anymore so I find myself reading /tg/ to get my rpg fix. But /tg/ is short and infested with story threads. So I came here.
As for the usual list of boring hobbies, I like reading (a nice mix between your regular high lit canon, sf/f - Peter Watts and Cat Valente are some of my favourite authors here - and whatever nonfiction falls into my grubby little paws), listening to music (I like to say I listen to all sorts of things but goth and metal seem to be the main attractors. Also, filk would be a guilty pleasure if I had any shame.), computer games (Planescape: Torment was incredible. Lots of fun were had with the Baldur's Gate series and its multitude mods. Heroes 3 was one of the first computer games I played, and therefore holds a too special spot in my heart for me to be able to judge its merits with the slightest semblance of objectivity. I wish Funcom would stop bothering with MMORPGrs and continue The Longest Journey already. Mass Effect wasn't a RPG but ghod dammit if Shepard wasn't one of the awesomer heroines I've seen lately. Also, Battle for Wesnoth is teh crack. Do try it, first one's free, little girl...) and long walks on the beach. In the sunset. With romantic violins playing in the background.
